Timothy J. Kitzmiller, DDS
Dr. Timothy (Tim) Kitzmiller began practicing in 1985 as an associate to two doctors. Two years later, in 1987, he opened the office where CinciSmiles is based today. He started from scratch, with no existing patients—truly a startup. Now, nearly 40 years later, Dr. Tim is still dedicated to providing personalized dental treatment in a comfortable and caring environment for his patients. His patient-centered approach focuses on each individual’s needs and goals. He and his team are also committed to staying up to date with the latest in dental advancements. This means they can deliver the most cutting-edge methods that comprehensive dentistry and dental sleep medicine offers.
Dr. Tim decided to pursue dentistry as a career choice despite having quite negative childhood dental experiences. He reflected on what made those experiences so negative and realized there had to be a better way to deliver positive outcomes for patients.
He later inadvertently came across dental sleep medicine due to his own snoring issue. His personal experience with sleep apnea and treatment with an oral appliance inspired him and his team to learn more and bring awareness to this highly prevalent problem. CinciSleep has now helped over 2,500 people through oral appliance treatment for sleep apnea, snoring, and bruxism. The team continues to receive referrals from cardiologists, neurologists, and pulmonologists, as well as dental colleagues. Dr. Tim finds this work personally very rewarding to help so many people.
Dr. Tim has been married to his wife, Lori, for 40 years. They have two amazing adult sons, Andrew (married to Carson) and Zachary (married to Micheal), who are both now parents themselves. When not working in the practice, Dr. Tim enjoys doing household projects and landscaping. He is also a fan of motorcycles, boating, wakeboarding, and surfing. There’s nothing better than grilling and smoking food outdoors, cooking with Lori, and building a nighttime outdoor one-match fire.

Andrew Kitzmiller, DDS
Dr. Andrew Kitzmiller grew up around dentistry. He always appreciated how much his father, Dr. Tim, loved his work, and he began working with him in 2019, just a week after graduation. Dr. Andrew enjoys the interesting blend of artistry, engineering, science, and health that dentistry encompasses. He also truly appreciates the dental profession and the work-life balance it provides. He feels lucky to do something he loves professionally while also having personal time to spend with his family and watch them grow.
Dr. Andrew loves the challenges that clinical dentistry presents. He especially enjoys working comprehensive and cosmetic cases, helping patients regain their confidence with a healthy smile. He likes challenging himself in all facets of the dental profession; it is something truly rewarding. As the dental field constantly evolves, Dr. Andrew enjoys keeping up with the latest technology and cutting-edge materials to achieve the best possible results for his patients.
Married to Carson since 2020, Dr. Andrew is also a father to baby Iris. When not working in the dental office, Dr. Andrew enjoys reading, listening to all genres of music, going to concerts, and experiencing the great outdoors, especially by boating and wakeboarding. He’s also an avid sports fan and likes to spend time with his family, travel (both within the U.S. and overseas), and try new foods.
