We are a comprehensive dental practice that offers a patient-centered, personalized approach to treatment planning. We’re here to make your dental visits comfortable and relaxed. You’ll experience a calm, relaxed atmosphere with warm neck pillows, noise-canceling headphones, lavender towels, and even a coffee bar!
In addition to helping adults care for their smiles, CinciSmiles can also provide services to children. Six years old is the youngest we typically see. However, we can see younger children if they are comfortable with an oral health evaluation at the first visit.
Your First Visit to CinciSmiles
What to Expect
From the moment you walk into CinciSmiles, you will notice our friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our caring, experienced team is here to support your oral health journey in a dental office designed around patient comfort.
Your initial appointment will take around two hours and will include:
Digital X-Rays
At your first visit, our team will take full mouth X-rays to help us assess your current oral health status. We can then compare future images to these records to detect any changes. We take digital X-rays chairside with a handheld X-ray machine. Digital X-rays offer many benefits, including reduced radiation exposure, more accurate images, and instant results.
Additionally, our panoramic X-ray technology only requires you to bite down on a small stick. The machine does all the work, rotating around the head to capture a wider view of the entire mouth at once. When additional diagnostics are required, such as for dental implants or oral surgeries, we use cone-beam computed tomography. The process is similar to a panoramic X-ray, but the result is a 3D replica of the mouth and jaw.
Prophylaxis
Typically, your hygienist will perform a prophylaxis (professional teeth cleaning) at your first visit. However, if it’s determined during your oral health evaluation that a deep clean is needed, we will schedule a separate appointment to complete that for you.
Periodontal Readings
Our team will perform periodontal readings to assess your gum health. This involves looking for signs of inflammation and using a probe to measure the pockets around your teeth. Periodontal readings help us to identify any signs of periodontal disease. This is important so you can receive the right treatment to remove harmful bacteria and restore your gum health.
Presentation of Oral Health Evaluation Findings
Once our team has conducted your oral health evaluation, your dentist will advise you of their findings and any areas of concern. They will also discuss your overall health and any concerns and goals you have when it comes to your smile.
The CinciSmiles team will provide you with a comprehensive list of recommended treatments to help you achieve the smile you’re hoping for.
Financial Consultation
We will talk with you about the cost of any recommended treatments as well as available financial options to help you afford your care. Our CinciSmiles Healthy Mouth Plan is a preventive-focused membership plan designed to help you easily afford regular preventive care for a healthier smile long term. CareCredit and LendingClub are also available as payment options, allowing you to pay off treatment over time.

At CinciSmiles, we believe that not having dental insurance shouldn’t be a barrier for accessing the oral health care that you and your family need. That is why we created our very own in-house dental savings plan. In addition, we accept all traditional forms of payment, including cash and credit card. We are also in network with most major dental insurance plans.
Need payment flexibility?
We also accept CareCredit and LendingClub, which allow you to access your treatment and pay it off over an approved period. Eligibility criteria and terms and conditions apply.
